In 2018 I rode from Land’s End to John o’ Groats via the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. A distance of some 4,000km. This includes in part Eurovelo 1 and National Cycle Network Routes 3, 4 and 780 (also known in part, as the Hebridean Way, but recently discontinued by Sustrans – who are now known as the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust – another site which doesn’t have a full map front and centre). So include a Google My Map below.
England – from Land’s End to Chepstow
Wales – from Chepstow to Fishguard (Ireland Ferry)
Ireland – from Rosslare to Ballycastle
Scotland – Hebridean Way and the North Coast 500 Route
Eurovelo 1 takes you from Portugal to Nordkapp in Norway. If I were to add the Spanish, French, Portguese and Norwegian routes, I would be able to declare I have ridden on of the world’s longest designated cycle routes.
